Why Become a Member?
Becoming a member of a local chapter is a wonderful way to get involved and give back to your community. With its focus on historic preservation, education, and patriotism, the DAR and its members are dedicated to service, and we would love for you to be a part of all for which we stand. We have members who can assist and direct you as you conduct family research and navigate the process of becoming a member.
What is Required for Membership?
An applicant for membership must be no less than 18 years of age and, through military, civil, or patriotic service. More details about eligibility and additional information about types of civil or patriotic service can be found by visiting the NSDAR website.
